I contacted Diamond Nuts by e-mail and was told that they were sorry but I should contact Amazon. Since the manufacture doesn’t back its product the last thing I needed was to be shipped another dozen packages of stale walnuts. It appears the product may have gone through extremely hot shipping temperatures, because one of the bags was opened on the bottom, as if it had been overpressured in shipment. After doing some research online about the strange taste being somewhat characteristic of black walnuts, I hesitated to return the product, but after a week or so, I concluded the taste I was experiencing was a little more than unique blue cheese sensation. My second surprise was that Amazon’s return policy excludes groceries! I am indeed left with a bad taste in my mouth! 0 |
